About Me

My name is Jessica Golden and I am a senior at the University of Michigan. I'm studying Political Science with a Minor in Writing and this website is a final collection of all of the work I have done across my four years here.

On campus, I am an active member of Delta Phi Epsilon, a Program Assistant for the University of Michigan Center for Campus Involvement and an avid Michigan sports fan, attending every event and sport I can! I have a passion for exploring new opportunities, finding excuses to travel and constantly learning things along the way.

The Minor in Writing is never something I could have imagined doing but has really changed my entire college experience. I have been able to channel creativity I never knew I had in writing and go out of the box with my experiences to write about what I've done. It's been a fantastic ride and I'm excited to share my online portfolio with you!

This online portfolio has a collection of work I've done both in and out of the minor, work I've had published online and reflections so you can better understand each piece. Under the Minor in Writing tab are essay's I've written while the Multimedia tab will direct you through projects in the minor.
